OfferLens ("the extension") helps you estimate a salary and check how well your CV matches a job posting shown on LinkedIn. OfferLens is not affiliated with LinkedIn.
Your CV: the text extracted from your PDF is stored only in your browser (the extension's local storage). It is sent only when you run an analysis. The salary estimate can run without a CV; a CV is used only for the match score and the salary to ask for.
The job posting you are viewing (title, company, location, description): read only when you click "Analyze".
When you click "Analyze", the job text (and your CV text, if provided) is sent to our server (a Cloudflare Worker), which forwards it to the Groq API to produce the analysis and returns the result.
No browsing data outside the job you analyze. No advertising trackers.
Remove your CV at any time with the trash button in the extension, by clearing its local storage, or by removing the extension.
